Terms of use

Last updated 13 July 2026.

Using this site

Krambach.au is run by locals, for locals, on a volunteer basis. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Accounts

Accounts are for real people connected to the Krambach community. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything posted from your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that are fake, abusive, or don't serve the purpose of the site.

Content you submit

Directory listings, comments and posts are reviewed before appearing publicly (except where a trusted contributor has been given direct publishing permission), but responsibility for accuracy sits with whoever submitted the content, not with the site.

Don't submit anything that:

  • is false, defamatory, or misleading
  • you don't have the right to post (like someone else's copyrighted work)
  • is abusive, threatening, or harasses another person
  • advertises something illegal, or is spam unrelated to the Krambach community
  • impersonates another person or business

We can remove any content, or suspend the account that posted it, at our discretion, without needing to give advance notice.

You keep ownership of anything you submit. By posting it, you give this site permission to display it as part of the ordinary operation of the site (for example, showing your directory listing publicly, or your comment under a news post).

Directory listings

Business and community group listings are supplied by the people who submit them. We don't verify every detail, and we don't endorse or vouch for any listed business. If you spot something wrong with a listing, let us know via the contact page.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, reliability or availability. We do our best to keep information current, but you shouldn't rely on it for anything urgent or critical (for example, always call ahead to confirm a business's hours rather than relying solely on the directory).

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, this site and the people who run it aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, or from content posted by other users, including inaccurate directory information, unavailability of the site, or anything posted by a third party. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

Your responsibility for your own content

You're responsible for anything you post. If a claim is made against us because of something you submitted (for example, a defamation complaint about a comment you posted), you agree to cover any reasonable costs that come directly from that, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes and availability

We can change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We'll try to give notice for anything major, but running a small volunteer site means that isn't always possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

These terms are written in plain language to be genuinely useful, not as a substitute for formal legal advice. They haven't been reviewed by a solicitor. If this site grows, starts handling payments, or takes on advertising, it's worth getting these properly reviewed by an Australian solicitor.
